Know your customers. Talk to the right group.

Each customer's orders, spend, addresses and reviews sit on one page. Segments you build from rules update themselves, and you can offer a discount to that group only.

What's in Customer management

  • Customer profile

See orders, total spend, addresses, reviews, favourites and the segments a customer belongs to on one page.

  • Rule-based segments

Build groups from rules such as total spend, number of orders, last order date, sign-up date, country or buying a specific product. The matching count shows instantly.

    Professional and Enterprise

  • Ready segment templates

Start from templates like VIP customers, new members and customers who have not bought in a while.

    Professional and Enterprise

  • Leads

People who left their email in the newsletter form, a pop-up or at checkout but did not buy are listed separately. You can also add them from Excel or CSV.

  • Your own sign-up fields

Add fields such as date of birth to the sign-up form, with a separate form for each country you sell in.

  • Customer accounts

Customers manage their orders, returns, addresses and favourites, reorder in one click, retry a failed payment, change their email or delete their account.

  • Newsletter sign-up

If you like, new subscribers get a confirmation link and the subscription is verified when they click it. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link.

  • Marketing consent

By default, marketing email goes only to people who gave consent. You can choose to email people without consent too, at your own responsibility. Someone who unsubscribed gets none under any setting unless they opt in again, and order emails need no consent.

  • Contact form messages

Messages from the contact form on your storefront are collected in the admin.

  • Guest email verification

If you like, verify a guest shopper's email with a code sent at checkout.

  • Abandoned cart reminders

Shoppers who leave their cart and have given marketing consent get a reminder email. Customers who return from the email and those who come back on their own are measured separately.

Build a segment once and it keeps itself up to date.

As you write the rules you see how many customers match. A customer who starts to meet the rules joins the group automatically. Customer segments: Included in Professional and Enterprise.

Customer management: frequently asked questions

Can't find your answer? Write to us from the contact page.

What is a segment?

A group of customers who meet rules you set, for example people who ordered more than twice in the last three months. A customer who starts to meet the rules joins the group automatically.

What can I do with a segment?

Offer a discount to that group only and see who is in it and how big it is.

Can I add fields like date of birth to the sign-up form?

Yes. Add your own fields to the sign-up form and set up a separate form for each country.

What does a newsletter subscription do?

The newsletter form records the person's marketing consent together with the text they accepted and the time. That consent applies to the automatic marketing emails sent to that address: the abandoned cart reminder and, if you turn it on, the review reminder. If you like, have subscriptions confirmed through a link in the email. Subscribers are listed in the panel with their consent status and can be exported as a file. Sending a newsletter to all subscribers is not available in the panel yet.
